There will be no buffet on Saturday evening. Meals at Brookside Valley Restaurant will be a la carte. Closer to the date of the hash we may ask if you can pre-book your food for Saturday evening. The restaurant will be open on Saturday evening from 6pm until 10pm. If you are hoping to eat elsewhere you may find it quite difficult to find anywhere close to the resort as it is not located close to any large settlements. The other resorts do not offer any meals. There are a few noodle shops along the road, but these are generally shut at 6pm. A regular breakfast is included in the room booking price. The rooms have no cooking facilities, microwaves or kettles but kettles can be requested if you would like one. There is one microwave in reception. See the resort food menu

NOTE: Takes places March 1/2
Saturday Ride: About 32km, with non-technical trails, shaded trails in nice rubber tree forests great views over the valley a few river crossings, very rideable, lots of climbing (but no descents, sorry). Assorted checks and false trails. 2 FRB sections. There are various possibilities to cut the ride shorter along connecting roads but it will help if you carry a phone for navigation, as we may not be able to able to lay paper on the shortcuts.
Sunday Ride: About 25km, non-technical ride with limited climbs. Again, lots of shaded trail, orchards, bridges, and a great water stop, where you can make friends with Bam Bam. This trail should be child friendly. There will be assorted checks and false trails. This is a largely flat tail with no planned shortcuts or FRB sections.
Shortcuts: If you plan to take any shortcuts, please bring a phone with Google Maps. At the start of each shortcut we will post QR code maps links to the end of each shortcut. Mostly these are simple road connections, at the end of the shortcut you will find paper to resume the main trail.
